Meditation, just like anything else, has been through a lot of changes since its first inception thousand of years ago. Today, we know people are practicing Healing Meditation, Zen Meditation, Mantra Meditation, Hindu Meditation. The list goes on with Moving Meditation, Passive Meditation, Candle Light Meditation, and a few others. For beginners, the overwhelming numbers of techniques, literature and advertisements could be very confusing.
For those who has already started one technique, this could also create a problem, because each technique claims that it's the best technique.
